The U.S. Army Europe and Africa announced the identification, noting that the soldier fell from a cliff during an off‑duty hike in the Atlas Mountains. Family members were notified, and a ceremony is planned at the base.

“Our thoughts are with her loved ones,” the command said, according to Reuters.

Earlier, the multinational effort deployed ↑ 3 assets – aircraft, ships and AI‑driven drones – to sweep the rugged terrain. The loss follows the death of Kendrick Lamont Key Jr., who also fell in the same incident.

Authorities continue to review safety protocols for off‑duty activities in overseas training zones.
