NVIDIA has confirmed a GeForce NOW data breach that compromised personal data of users in Armenia, according to a statement provided to BleepingComputer. The breach, discovered in early April, exposed email addresses, hashed passwords and occasional gaming identifiers.

GeForce NOW data breach details

Security analysts estimate that roughly ↓ 1,200 Armenian accounts were affected. The breach appears to stem from a misconfigured cloud storage bucket, a vulnerability often cited in recent Reuters reports on cloud exposures.

Response and mitigation steps

NVIDIA has forced password resets for all impacted users and deployed multi‑factor authentication as a safeguard. In a
