This week’s indie game roundup delivers a nostalgic blast from the past with Starship Troopers: Ultimate Bug War!, a retro first-person shooter from Auroch Digital and Dotemu that leans into the satirical, bug-slaying chaos of Paul Verhoeven’s cult classic. Framed as a meta-military recruitment tool, the game casts players as Major Samantha Dietz on the bug frontlines, with Casper Van Dien reprising his role as Johnny Rico in cutscenes.
