Microsoft confirmed on Thursday that it has resolved the glitch that generated erroneous Defender Antivirus turned off alerts after the rollout of the latest Windows 10 and 11 patches.

Analysts at Reuters noted that the swift response helps maintain trust in Windows Defender’s reputation.
