Jesse Eisenberg on the notion of leaving the United States

The Oscar‑nominated actor, best known for the Social Network, responded to a flurry of online speculation that he might abandon America because of President Trump. “I am a very lucky American,” Eisenberg told reporters,

“the idea of packing up and moving abroad is downright silly.”

He added that civic duty outweighs personal frustration, noting that many citizens voice dissent without uprooting their lives. In a recent interview with Reuters, he emphasized that democracy thrives on debate, not exile.
