Meta AI agent deployment accelerates internal adoption

Meta has begun deploying its latest Meta AI agent to employees, while dialing back mandatory usage quotas that some staff called “token‑maxxing.” The shift aims to let engineers and marketers experiment without fearing hidden penalties.

According to internal data, voluntary engagement rose ↑ 12% in the first fortnight. Reuters reported that the tool, codenamed “Hatch,” integrates generative‑text, code‑assist and visual synthesis capabilities.

“We want staff to feel free to explore,” a Meta spokesperson told Bloomberg.

The company also reminded teams that the previous “token‑maxxing” metric, which tracked daily AI query counts, will be retired next quarter. Analysts note that this could smooth morale after the pandemic‑induced remote‑work surge.

Correction: An earlier dispatch misstated the rollout date as June instead of July.
