Pakistan military force Saudi Arabia: Strategic Arrival

The Saudi Ministry of Defense confirmed that a Pakistan military force Saudi Arabia landed at King Abdulaziz Air Base on Thursday, bringing a squadron of fighter jets and support aircraft. The deployment, part of the mutual defence pact signed last September, is designed to boost joint readiness and deter regional threats.

According to the statement, the contingent includes ↑ 5 fighter jets, accompanied by transport and refuelling platforms. Saudi officials say the move signals a deeper security partnership amid escalating tensions linked to Iran’s recent actions.

“Any aggression against either nation will be treated as an attack on both,” the agreement reads.

The pact, which also covers nuclear cooperation, obliges both sides to respond collectively to any hostile act. While the Pakistani defense ministry has not offered comment, analysts from Reuters note that the presence of the aircraft could shift the balance of power in the Gulf.
