On Tuesday, Comex Gold settled ↓ 1.4%, marking a second decline in three sessions, while silver posted a ↓ 2.5% drop, extending losses to three of the last four days.

Comex Gold Prices Slide Amid Weak Demand

The decline follows subdued industrial activity and a firmer U.S. dollar, factors highlighted in recent Reuters reports. Trading volume on the COMEX was moderate, with investors reacting to the latest Bloomberg analysis that projects further pressure on precious metals.

“The market is reacting to tighter monetary policy expectations,” said analyst Jane Doe.

Technical charts show the 50‑day moving average still above spot, suggesting short‑term bearish bias.

Correction: An earlier dispatch misstated the silver decline as 1.5%.
