Tiny Vinyl Player rolls out Target‑exclusive accessories

The Tiny Vinyl Player arrives today for ↑ $49.99, accompanied by a $19.99 storage crate and a $14.99 display frame, all sold exclusively at Target. Miniature vinyl records—four‑inch discs with a single song per side—have been a niche hit since the brand’s August debut, echoing the nostalgic charm of early 2000s HitClips while offering genuine analog playback.

What’s inside the new kit?

Buyers receive a manual belt‑drive turntable wrapped in faux‑leather, a compact pocket that holds up to six records, Bluetooth output, and a wired speaker jack. The tonearm unlocks with a cue lever; its delicate plastic lock is the only fragile component worth noting.

“These new products give music fans and collectors everything they need to build out their own little Tiny Vinyl universe,” co‑founder Jesse Mann said.

The player’s silicon platter stays still until the arm is raised, then spins at 33 RPM, delivering the expected tinny, slightly muffled sound typical of a $50 novelty device. Compared with a full‑size turntable, the audio is far less refined, but the unit runs silently—no whirring gears audible in the background. Connectivity is straightforward: a blue LED indicates Bluetooth pairing (my JBL Charge 5 showed the ↓ paired status), and a USB‑C cable with power adapter powers the unit—plugging into a laptop won’t supply enough juice. The accompanying crate, finished in the same pebbled pleather, stores up to 30 Tiny Vinyl discs and slots neatly beneath the player’s feet. The 2×2 display frame, built from MDF and acrylic, showcases four covers in polypropylene sleeves that resist off‑gassing. A quick check with Reuters confirms the vinyl resurgence is real, driven by collectors and artists alike; the pandemic era amplified the appeal of miniature collectibles. As the vinyl market hits ↑ $1 billion annual sales, Tiny Vinyl adds a fresh, collectible layer for fans chasing every variant.
