Maternal Instinct is a Netflix true‑crime film that follows the 2020 killing of 21‑year‑old Reagan Simmons Hancock in New Boston, Texas, and the subsequent conviction of Taylor Parker. Investigators say Parker, who pretended to be pregnant, stole Hancock’s unborn child to sustain her fabricated identity.

Fabricated pregnancy and a deadly plan
