Police in Queensland say the suspect himself dialed emergency services, reporting an ‘incident’ at his residence before investigators uncovered the grisly scene.

Man charged with murder of wife and two sons

Authorities allege the father, identified as 37‑year‑old John Doe, systematically killed his wife and their two teenage boys, then called police to the home.

The court will hear that the murders occurred on ↓ 23 April 2026, with forensic evidence linking the suspect to each fatal wound.

“The call was chillingly calm,” said a senior officer, Reuters reported.

Prosecutors are pursuing a single count of murder with multiple victims, a charge that could carry a life sentence without parole.
