AlixLabs Series A has secured a fresh infusion of capital, €15 million (↑ 15 M), propelling its atomic etching platform toward market readiness. The Lund‑based deep‑tech venture aims to begin beta trials with leading foundries in 2026 and scale to volume production by 2027.

The round was anchored by existing backers and topped up by Finnish industrial investor Stephen Industries, underscoring confidence in the proprietary Atomic Pitch Splitting (APS™) process. Analysts note that the technology could shave up to 10% off critical dimension variability, a metric that could reshape wafer economics.

“Our goal is to make atomic‑scale patterning as routine as photolithography today,” said CEO Lina Bergström.
