Airlines waive change fees amid nor’easter disruption

In response to the nor’easter that has left ↓ 88,000 customers without electricity across the Northeast, major carriers announced they airlines waive change fees for affected passengers. Travelers can rebook without penalty through midnight Friday, according to airline spokespeople.

“We understand the hardship,” said a Delta representative, “and we’re removing barriers to get people home safely.”
